The Poetry of Michael Langston

(72) TO JUDI: OBSCURITY

She sang her song of life and love
  Though few were there to hear.
Known to but the stars above,
  She cried her unseen tears.

A distant bird now sings instead;
  Her life has ceased to be.
A cloud now cries her tears, it's said;
  Its raindrops kiss the sea.
